Both organisations said a government official, who pleaded anonymity informed them of the latest development. The government official informed them that the girls were picked up by a military helicopter after their release.
He said a major activity was taking place at Banki, a border town between Nigeria and Cameroon.
The source said:
“I can confirm to you that there is a major activity going on in the Banki axis. For now, that is what I can tell you.”
